Uday Kumar Bachu is a Senior Software Engineering Manager at Microsoft, currently working on the development of Microsoft Viva Learning - an employee experience platform that serves as a centralized hub for learning. With over 15 years of relevant experience, he is always ready to take on new challenges and develop functionalities that create business value. Uday's technical skills are vast and impressive. He is proficient in C++, Java, Data Structures, Optimization of Algorithms, SOAP and RESTful Web Services, SQL, PL-SQL, Java Script, JSF, JSP, and has hands-on experience with process dump analysis tools like GDB, windbg, IDEs like Jdev, Eclipse, VS.net, and web servers like IIS, Tomcat, Weblogic. He has also worked with HTTP Request and Response Trace tools, different operating systems, and databases. Prior to joining Microsoft, Uday worked as a Principle Software Engineer at Oracle, where he was a part of the Fusion Middleware extensions team of Oracle Server Technologies Group. He also worked at CA Technologies as a Sr. Software Engineer, where he developed enhanced features of spelsrvr, text API components and worked on performance and scalability problems raised in SDM. Uday holds a Master's degree in Computer Science & Engineering from IIT Kharagpur and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science & Engineering from Vidyajyothi Institute of Technology - Hyderabad. In addition to his technical skills, Uday has experience working with Azure Functions, Azure Service Fabric, Azure Storage, Azure SignalR, Azure AAD, PowerApps, ARM scripting, CI/CD deployment pipelines of Azure resources, Office UI Fabric, Kusto, ReactJS, and React Native. He also has exposure to areas like Office 365 Graph APIs, Highcharts, NoSQL DB, and Azure Service Bus. Uday is passionate about building a culture of learning using Microsoft Viva Learning and is always looking for new ways to develop functionalities that create business value.
